Shift patternSplit Shifts: 07:00am - 14.00pm and/or 15:00pm - 22:00pm

Pay: £13.00 per hour + £0.30 per mile mileage Contract: Permanent, contracted hours Experience: Minimum 6 months’ UK care experience Driving: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle required

Currently have three Skilled work visas for this position, to be eligible must have a valid uk driving license and access to your own vehicle and at least one year care experience.

About the Role

Nationwide Care Services is looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Complex Care Assistants to join our growing team.

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes across Telford, Wellington and Newport.

As a domiciliary care provider, you will generally support one client for the entire duration of your shift. This allows you to build a strong, trusting relationship with the person you support and provide consistent care tailored to their individual needs.

Shifts

We are looking for care professionals who can work flexibly across available shifts in Telford, Wellington and Newport.

Shift availability will vary depending on the client and care package. You will be expected to work as part of a dedicated care team and follow the client's established routines and care plan.

What you will be doing

  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing personal care and support with daily living
  • Supporting clients with community access and social activities
  • Accompanying clients to theme parks, concerts and other leisure activities
  • Supporting clients to maintain their independence, choice and dignity
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with clients
  • Following individual care plans, routines and safety procedures
  • Responding appropriately to complex care needs, including epileptic seizures
  • Supporting non-verbal clients with patience and understanding

  • Comfortable supporting a non-verbal individual
  • Able to follow individual routines and care plans
  • Positive, professional and able to use their initiative

  • Flexible and able to work effectively as part of a dedicated care team
  • A good communicator with a great sense of humour
