Support Worker — learning disabilities

Help three people in a shared supported living service in Alvaston run their own week, their own way.

Pay£12.40 – £13.10 per hour
Hours37.5 hours per week
Shift patternEarlies, lates and alternate weekends
LocationDerby

This is support, not supervision. The people you work with have their own tenancies, their own routines and their own plans — college, work placements, five-a-side, the pub quiz. Your job is to make those happen.

What you will be doing

  • Supporting daily living skills and independence
  • Community access, appointments and activities
  • Positive behaviour support plans
  • Budgeting and household management support
  • Accurate daily records

What we need from you

  • A genuine interest in people’s independence
  • Resilience and consistency
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to do sleep-in shifts

What you get in return

  • Sleep-ins paid at £75 per night
  • Funded Level 3 in Learning Disabilities
  • Structured induction with shadow shifts
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
