Live-in care means one person, one carer, and a genuine alternative to a residential home. You move in for a fortnight, follow the household’s routine rather than a rota, and take your two hours of break each day with cover in place.
What you will be doing
- All aspects of personal care and daily living support
- Meal planning, cooking and household management
- Medication administration
- Companionship and keeping the person connected to their community
- Liaising with family, GPs and district nurses
What we need from you
- At least 6 months’ paid care experience
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to commit to a two-week placement pattern
- Comfortable living in someone else’s home
