Worcester branch
A county-wide branch based at Blackpole Business Centre in Worcester, covering everything from the city out to the Malverns and the Teme valley.
Worcestershire is our most rural catchment, and it is planned differently because of it. Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern, Evesham, Pershore, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove and Redditch all sit within it, along with villages where the nearest neighbour is a field away.
In a county this size, travel time is the thing that quietly ruins a care package: a rota that looks fine on paper turns into calls that arrive late all day. So rounds here are built around geography first, carers are recruited in the villages they will work in, and travel between calls is paid rather than absorbed.
Worcestershire Royal Hospital is in the catchment, and the branch reaches into Herefordshire and north Gloucestershire where a package makes sense to run from Worcester.
We recruit locally, pay for travel time between calls and publish rotas a fortnight ahead. Carers are matched to rounds near where they live rather than sent across the county.
